Sackur-Tetrode formula is a mathematical expression for entropy of a perfect gas in micro canonical ensemble. This formula provides a more accurate description of the entropy of an ideal gas at low temperature and high pressure compared to simpler expressions like Boltzmann entropy formula. It accounts for quantum mechanical effects and is particularly important and useful in understanding the behavior of gases under extreme conditions . This formula has been also obtained here in terms of de-Broglie thermal wavelength.
