Rosie Motene is a Pan African feminist, survivor, writer, global speaker, media personality and award-winning author. She holds a BA in Dramatic Arts from The University of the Witwatersrand. With over two decades of experience in TV, film and theatre industry, she has worked from across Africa to the USA, UK, and Australia.Rosie is a revered speaker and emcee and speaks on the following topics:African identity, GBV (Gender-based violence), Pan African entrepreneurship, setting and achieving your goals, where she documents her two climbs up Mount Kilimanjaro.Her memoir, Reclaiming The Soil was published and launched in 2018. The book details her extraordinary upbringing of being raised by her mother's white employers. Being born in 1974,
under the apartheid laws, created a rather unconventional upbringing and many sacrifices for her biological and foster family.The book looks at the themes of African identity, interfaith and interracial adoption, abuse and career goals.
