West Seattle businesses voice concerns over proposed RV safe lot, tiny home village

Описание: Doubts are running deep among a group of businesses in West Seattle where a combined RV safe parking lot and tiny house village could soon open as part of the city’s effort to address homelessness.

The Low Income Housing Institute, or LIHI, plans to operate the site at 7201 Second Ave. SW, a vacant Washington State Department of Transportation property known as the “Glassyards” site.

The proposal calls for space for up to 72 recreational vehicles and 20 tiny homes, along with hygiene facilities, case management, and supportive services.
