How We Spent 2 Days in Takayama, Food and Activity Recommendations | Takayama Travel Vlog

Описание: We had a 12-day trip in Japan between 6-18 November. Landed in Osaka, then we traveled to Kanazawa, Shirakawa-go, Takayama, Shinhotaka, back to Takayama, then Kanazawa again, and eventually Kyoto and Osaka before we flew back to Singapore! It was a lot of travel but we had a wonderful time doing this trip! Watch our Japan vlog to see how we manage and some tips and tricks we found out during the trip.

While in Takayama, we enjoyed a lot of Hida beef, comfort food like Takayama-style ramen and Hida soba, and a lot of nice cafes. We learned more about Gassho-style houses and their architecture in Hida Folk Village. The city itself is lovely and quaint. We enjoyed strolling around Old Street, tasting sake, and trying local snacks like gohei mochi and Hida beef skewer. During this trip, we also tried dressing in Kimono for the first time ever and we did some photoshoots in the city - super fun!
