http://www.neilhogan.com Taman Mini is a park containing replicas of many of the houses around Indonesia. Indonesia contains hundreds of different cultures, belief systems and customs and it would take a lifetime to learn about them all. The quickest way to learn Indonesia is to go to this park and visit the houses, read the information and meet people you can ask questions from. In that sense it is the only park of its kind in the world. Many Indonesians say you don't have to visit anywhere else in Indonesia, just visit this park!
This took us about 2 hours to drive around. It would probably take weeks to explore! Jump to just before the end to see some fantastic West Sumatra style buildings.
