Описание: Niwot High had five scorers in the top 40 and all seven athletes finishing among the first 55 competitors in the girls Class 5A final at the Colorado High School Activities Association state championships at Norris Penrose Event Center. Addy Ritzenhein, a senior, captured her third consecutive individual title by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 17:08.5, with junior Elise Hagen placing 22nd in 18:39.0, senior Anna Prok achieving 25th in 18:42.9, with freshmen Siona Kelly (18:46.9), Emily Bolda (18:54.0) and Tereza Koudelka (18:59.5) finishing 36th, 39th and 41st, respectively for the Cougars, who also had senior Avalon Beltran in 55th in 19:15.0. Elsza Bergen, Scarlett Parks and Kelly Wilson also contributed during the season to Niwot winning a seventh team title in eight years, including the first Class 5A championship in program history, by holding off Heritage by a 103-107 margin. The Cougars won six in a row from 2018-23 in Class 4A.
