The city of Indore, adjudged the cleanest city in India for three straight years in the cleanliness survey conducted by the central government, leads by example. The city successfully tackles the large amount of construction waste, uses mechanised sweeping machines, solves plastic accumulation problem by generating crude oil, transforms organic waste into biogas and has made more than 100 acres of dumping land available for use.
