The thermoforming process of KRION™: The protective layer must be carefully removed before heating the sheets (KRION LUX). The edges must be sanded down. This ways the sheet will not damage the membrane and we will avoid micro-cracks. KRION LUX sheets must be heated at 160ºC / 300ªF on both sides. Heating time should be 190 min per sheet + 1 minute per millimetre / 0,04” (e.g 12mm/0,47” sheet = 22 minutes) on KRION LUX. After the thermoforming let it rest inside the pressing membrane for 40 minute approximate.
