This stop we are at Qingmuchuan ancient town - 青木川古镇，汉口。
After a 7-hour drive from Zhengzhou, we arrived at the peaceful Qingmuchuan Ancient Town just as the sun was setting.
The town was quiet, untouched by crowds, with locals still washing clothes by the river, homegrown veggies, and a calm dog guarding the alley. It felt like stepping into another world, slow, simple, and beautifully real.
I tried on the Miao Zu costume for the first time! Beautiful design! I picked black because I thought this is the only traditional costume in China that looks the most fabulous in black! (As a lot of the traditional Chinese costumes are usually bright and colourful. )
Lastly, I wanna say since moving to Australia, I haven’t had many chances to travel with my family in China, so I truly treasured this time together!
