El Salvador. This little Central American nation was the murder capital of the world, the country was plagued by gang violence and things were pretty grim.
Nowadays however, El Salvador is completely different place.
Today we're hitchhiking through Western El Salvador, a mountainous region full of stunning volcanoes, pure natural beauty and yep we can't forget... Burning plastic.
Along the way we took some dodgy local transport and met some bloody lovely Salvadoran people.
