Durga confronted Mahishasura, and their battle raged for ten days. Mahishasura, in his attempts to defeat Durga, shifted through various forms, including a buffalo, a lion, and an elephant.

On the tenth day, Durga pinned the demon, who had transformed back into a buffalo, and beheaded him with her trident, ending his tyranny.The slaying of Mahishasura by Durga symbolizes the ultimate victory of good over evil, the triumph of divine power over demonic forces. ❤️Durga is also revered as a nurturing mother, a protector of the universe, and the source of courage and strength for her devotees. 🤌✨🔥
