In1972 the Schelm was found in Prague by Gijs Perlee who purchased the Gavioli bought it back to his workshops in Amsterdam where he set to work restoring the organ, later the Schelm was inaugurated at the Openluchtmuseum in Arnhem. In 1990 the Gavioli was again restored by Henk Veeningen. Before and after that time the Schelm was played every year on the organ days and regularly rented out for extra income. Recently third parties have expressed concern about the condition of the Schelm, the last was a comment on YouTube which reads: `bring out the organ from storage and blow away the dust otherwise we will never again hear him play again`
The Schelm must be cleaned and be climaticly stored, it was also established that the restoration costs are estimated to be € 35.000, with your help of contribution and sponsership, the restoration comes closer.
