With no time to consider the revised gun laws Bill, it was brought before Parliament to be pushed through by the Albanese Labor Government.
Phone call after phone call, letter after letter, email after email from the Parkes electorate DID NOT WANT these gun law reforms.
They argued that our country already has some of the toughest gun regulations in the world.
They argued that the problem was not farmers controlling feral animals, was not sports shooters developing their skills, was not those who use firearms as part of their job.
This terrible act of terrorism happened in one of our largest cities, on our best-known beach, at the hands of extremists.
Those are the facts.
