Initial works have started in Ringaskiddy , and enabling works continue at Raffeen Quarry and Carrs hill . I haven't heard of any main contract being awarded yet , but word has it it will be a joint venture between Sorensen and Sisk . Sisk will build from the Bloomfield Interchange to Shannon Park , and Sorensen will build from Ringaskiddy at meet Sisk at Shannon Park . Neither has the funding been release to start the build proper and no scheduled start date has been announced . I'm open to correction on this in the comments
