DIY Herb Garden Clock Made from Recycled Cans & Fence Pickets

In this video, I’ll show you how I turned old fence pickets, veggie cans, and a little bit of crafty persistence into a rustic outdoor herb garden clock I like to call Father Thyme.
This project is full of charm, character, and plenty of scrappy creativity. Perfect for anyone who loves repurposing, container gardening, or adding functional decor to their outdoor space.

Using 100% recycled and thrifted materials, I’ll walk you through every step—from cutting the clock shape, to labeling the planters, to adding mossy details that bring it all to life. Whether you're an herb lover, a rustic decor fan, or just need some garden DIY inspiration, I hope this project sparks some ideas for your own space!

🌱 HERBS PLANNED FOR THIS CLOCK:
Basil, Parsley, Rosemary, Sage, Oregano, Thyme, Lemon Thyme, Mint, Lemon Balm, Dill, Chives, and Chamomile

🎨 Materials Used:
• Recycled veggie cans
• Salvaged fence pickets
• Titebond glue & hot glue
• Fabric scraps + PVA glue
• Cricut vinyl for herb labels
• Leather heat transfer patches
• Antique Waverly wax
• Moss, floral HTV, and faux florals for filler
