An ancient alien species known as the Proximians created massive stone structures called Obelisks and placed them on several planets in the galaxy. The purpose of these Obelisks was to serve as a means of communication with the Proximians home planet.

One such Obelisk was placed deep in the woods on Earth and remained hidden for thousands of years. However, recent technological advancements on Earth allowed for the discovery of the Obelisk. Upon activation, the Obelisk transmitted a distress signal to its home planet, alerting the alien species of its discovery by humans.

The Proximians sent a reconnaissance team to investigate and retrieve the Obelisk. However, upon their arrival, they discovered that the civilization on Earth had developed far beyond their expectations. The Proximians decided to remain hidden and observe the civilization, hoping to learn more about their development and potential as a species.

The Obelisk continues to serve as a communication device between the Proximian's home planet and the Obelisk on Earth. The alien species waits patiently, ready to make contact with humanity when the time is right.

To humanity, the Obelisk remains a mystery. Despite their advancements, they have yet to fully comprehend the purpose and origin of the massive stone structure. Many theories have arisen, but none have been proven. The Proximians have carefully observed humanity's attempts to understand the Obelisk, but have not made any attempts to reveal themselves or the purpose of the Obelisk. The true nature and function of the Obelisk remains a mystery to the people of Earth.
