So I shut down for the night in Watkins, CO just before my final leg from Cincinnati, OH. I usually try to stop in odd places like this just to see what I can see. I pull into town and was presented one of the most spectacular sights I've seen in quite a while. They had almost everything Eastern US truck fans could ever want to see. So I made friends with the crew and got a tour.
The GMC Brigadier is powered by a Detroit 6v53T, the White cab-over roll off is powered by a Detroit 6-71t, and the Ford 8000 is powered by a CAT 3208. Also a fun note, the Ford is a former Western Disposal truck. West to East... get it? lol
They have so many classics including Sanicruisers, Packmasters, and to top it off, an EZ-Pack scissor arm FL that apparently is still in decent running order!!!
