The BYD Tai 7 is an upcoming 7-seater hybrid SUV from BYD’s Fang Cheng Bao brand, scheduled for launch in September 2025. Positioned as the largest model in the lineup, it measures 4,999 mm in length, 1,995 mm in width, 1,865 mm in height, and offers a wheelbase of 2,920 mm, making it a spacious choice for families. Show cars are expected to be displayed at Fang Cheng Bao stores by the end of August 2025, ahead of customer deliveries.

In terms of performance, the Tai 7 will be offered in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. The AWD variant is equipped with a 35.6 kWh battery, providing up to 180 km of pure electric range, while the RWD version features a 26.6 kWh battery, capable of 135 km on electricity alone. Thanks to its hybrid system combining an internal combustion engine with electric power, the Tai 7 achieves a remarkable total driving range of over 1,300 km, ensuring long-distance practicality.

As the second model in the Tai series, the BYD Tai 7 is designed to cater to urban family users, emphasizing versatility, comfort, and family-oriented features. With its seven-seat layout, strong hybrid efficiency, and focus on premium interior space, it aims to appeal to buyers seeking both practicality and advanced technology in a modern SUV package.
