I have had requests to show more of my vintage collection, and here on Collections Management today we are going through my vintage brooches in a gold tone or color. Of course most of these are just base metal and not intrinsically valuable, but costume jewelry is fun!
and yeah...I have a huge brooch collection, it's true.
Like most of my vintage collection, most of these (I'd say 95%) were found on Etsy, and I usually don't like to pay too much for things. For vintage costume jewelry, I don't like to pay more than $50 dollars for anything unless it is a full set or truly spectacular. Most of the time I spend around $10-$25 on a brooch unless it is something very rare or spectacular.
