News: अंबरनाथ नगर पालिका में सत्ता के लिए कांग्रेस से गठबंधन करने वाली BJP ने असल में अकोला जिले के अकोट में सत्ता के लिए 'MIM' से गठबंधन कर लिया है। हाल ही में हुए नगर निगम चुनावों (Akot Election) में BJP की माया धुले ने अकोट में मेयर पद जीता था। हालांकि, 35 सदस्यों वाली नगर पालिका में BJP को बहुमत नहीं मिला है। अकोट में 35 में से 33 सीटों पर चुनाव हुए हैं। यहां BJP को 11 सीटें मिलीं।

इस तरह, BJP ने अब अकोट नगर पालिका में अपने नेतृत्व में 'अकोट विकास मंच' की स्थापना की है। इस 'अकोट विकास मंच' (Akot Development Manch) में BJP के बाद सबसे ज़्यादा सीटें जीतने वाली MIM, BJP की सहयोगी बन गई है। इसके अलावा ठाकरे की शिवसेना, शिंदे की शिवसेना, अजित पवार की NCP, शरद पवार की NCP और बच्चू कडू की प्रहार जनशक्ति पक्ष भी इस गठबंधन में शामिल हैं। इस नए गठबंधन को कल अकोला डिस्ट्रिक्ट मजिस्ट्रेट के पास रजिस्टर किया गया।
