La Marcha de la Libera (The Freedom March) was a military march of Argentina which symbolized the military dictatorship called the Revolución Libertadora (Liberating Revolution), which overthrew the constitutional government of President Juan Domingo Perón in 1955.

The Peron government, although it came from an election, was transformed into an authoritarian regime. After the attacks in Plaza de Mayo and the bombing of June 1955, a hymn of its own was composed, written by the provincial deputy of the UCR Manuel Rodríguez Ocampo. In July of that year, anti-Peronist sectors set off bombs at the Peronist Higher School and the Mundo Peronista publishing house. Its lyrics and music were composed after June 16, when the Casa Rosada in Buenos Aires was bombed, leaving 530 civilians murdered. The anthem had inspiration and a tone reminiscent of the Falangist anthem Cara al sol. [This is mentioned in the Spanish Wikipedia articles of both the Marcha Libetadora itself and Cara al Sol. Both songs do not seem to have anything in common apart from a few somewhat similar verses and the war theme. The sources of both articles do not seem to mention anything about this relationship, but I do not rule out that it might be true.]
During the dictatorship of Pedro Eugenio Aramburu, with the objective of de-Peronization, the March was mandatory in schools. It was also used on March 14, 1957 in an act of the Radical Civic Union preceded by Ricardo Balbín and Miguel Ángel Zavala Ortiz. This sector would later split under the command of Crisolucion Larralde to form the People's Radical Civic Union in opposition to the block led by Arturo Frondizi, which was renamed the Intransigent Radical Civic Union.

This is the original version, recorded in the basements of Nuestra Señora del Socorro by the Coro de Civiles Revolucionarios. At first it was distributed clandestinely among anti-Peronist revolutionaries, especially in Córdoba and Buenos Aires. According to a gloss on the back of the same disc of this recording, the percussion was performed by hitting a piece of furniture located in the basement.
