This video is an introduction to OpenFAST. You are welcome to try running the cases for yourself. The associated files can be found at the following address: https://gitlab.in2p3.fr/lheea/oracle/... . This tutorial was developed at Centrale Nantes with support from the Oracle research cluster.
In the fourth video, we take our turbine to a floating platform. The platform is a model of the OC4 Semi-Submersible. We will use the Hydrodyn and Moordyn module, along with TurbSim for the incoming wind field.
OpenFAST is an open-source tutorial dedicated to simulating offshore wind turbines, both fixed and floating. It is developed at NREL, and everything from the source codes to the examples can be accessed on their GitHub page (https://github.com/openfast).
