在国外生活,一说到“吃粉”,很多人第一反应都是越南粉,
但其实选择远不止这些。
比如柳州螺蛳粉、重庆酸辣粉,
今天在温哥华,我就打卡了一家港式赖粉。
这家店叫 面留香。
我们点了一个辣的——2 号地狱狗仔鸭赖粉,
再来一个不辣的——7 号烟熏鸡扒鱼骨汤赖粉,米线统一换成赖粉。
另外还加了一个皮腿茄子。
赖粉的“赖”,其实来自“淋、撒”的意思,
制作过程也很讲究:米浆挤入沸水,七八成熟后捞出过冷河,
吃的时候再浇上滚烫的汤头,粉要韧、要滑、还不能断。
下雨天在温哥华嗦一碗热腾腾的赖粉,
真的太舒服了。
整体来说,每一碗汤头都有自己的特点,
如果你是北方人口味,地狱狗仔鸭赖粉基本不会踩雷。
When people talk about noodles abroad, many immediately think of pho.
But the options go far beyond that.
Today in Vancouver, I’m visiting a Hong Kong–style Lai Fun noodle shop called Mian Liu Xiang.
We ordered a spicy option — Hell-Level Spicy Duck Lai Fun,
and a non-spicy one — Smoked Chicken with Fish Bone Broth Lai Fun,
with the noodles swapped to lai fun. We also added an eggplant side.
“Lai fun” refers to noodles that are poured or squeezed into boiling water.
The process is simple but precise: the rice batter is cooked briefly, rinsed in cold water,
then finished by pouring hot broth over it right before serving.
Good lai fun should be smooth, springy, and never break.
On a rainy day in Vancouver, a warm bowl of noodles like this really hits the spot.
Each broth has its own character, and overall, this place is well worth checking out.
