tried this
1. A Planner Rebuild doesn't delete your recordings, so worth a try.
2. The sequence I'd use to reset your wireless connector (which differs slightly from what you posted) is:
Put your Sky box in standby and turn off at the mains
Unplug the wireless connector
Turn off your router at the plug
Wait 30 seconds before turning on your router
Wait another 5 minutes before turning on your Sky box
Wait until your Sky box has fully restarted
Reconnect the wireless connector
