Couples often ask me if they can even apply for advance parole when they don’t know their intended departure date, since Form I-131 specifically asks for it! You absolutely can and you 100% should! Secondly, you need to do it because you don’t know what type of emergency can come up back in your home country and you will need to travel, but you won’t be able to without your AP. And third, you don’t need to have any dates set, just say TBD or Unknown under the intended departure date, and make sure to follow my page for more!
