Materials -
• One 9" round cakes - made using two batches of our vanilla cake recipe (see link below)
• 750g (1lb 10oz) Sweet buttercream (see link below)
• 1kg (2lb 2oz) Modelling chocolate (one batch - see recipe link below) - 700g (1lb 5oz) Tan - 5 parts Wilton Ivory, 1 part Americolor Chocolate brown and 1 part Americolor Lemon Yellow,
250g (1lb 5oz) Black/brown - equal parts Americolor Super Black and Chocolate Brown
Small amounts of Black (Americolor Super Black and White (Americolor Whitener)
• Large spatula
• Turntable (optional)
• Two 9" Round cake plate
• 16"" square cake board
• Metal/ Plastic scraper
• Small and large rolling pin
• Cornflour/ Cornstarch
• Pizza cutter
• Exacto knife
• Tape measure
• Scribe tool or toothpick
• Water or sugar glue if needed
