FISH ROTIS
Ingredients
3 cups All purpose flour
1-11/4 cups water
3 -4 tablespoons oil
2 tsp salt
Pinch of baking soda
Make dough:
Combine flour, salt. And baking soda ,oil and mix it .Add enough water to make the dough. The dough should not wet. Knead the dough Atleast 10 minutes. ( I used the stand mixer with the dough hook) apply oil and leave Atleast 2 hours covered. After 45 minutes to 1 hour.make golf sized ball and start making .
Make filling:
canned fish 2
300 grams boiled potatoes
Spring onions chopped
Green chili chopped
1 tomato
Onions chopped
Ginger garlic paste
Pepper powder
Turmeric powder
Red chili flakes (optional)
Salt
Enough oil
Method
Stretch the dough ball on a board as shown in the video.Measure the filling to get even size rotis.
Put the filling into the middle of the roti, according to the shape you desire.
Fold the edges to cover the fillng.
Heat a pan over moderate heat. Cook the roties on all sides, till each side turn a golen brown color.
Serve hot.
