This is in honor of TASM2 which I'm watching next week ahhh I'm so exciteddddd. I feel like I'm gonna be one of the last few people who's gonna see it but whatever, gotta support my babies haha. There are no TASM2 spoilers btw I'd rather wait to get an HD copy.

I started this after I did a TASM rewatch and it just reminded why I love the character so much and specifically Andrew's interpretation of it. He's just a boy with the weight of the world on his shoulders who lost his family too young but still believes in good and chooses to fight for it rather than against it. As Andrew said at Comic-Con in 2011:

"Stan Lee says that the reason why Spidey is so popular is because all of us can relate to him, and I agree. I needed Spidey in my life when I was a kid, and he gave me hope. In every comic I read, he was living out my and every skinny boy's fantasy of being stronger, of being free of the body I was born into, and that swinging sensation of flight. And upon receiving his power, unlike most who have become corrupted, he used it for good. And I think that we all wish we had the courage to stick up for ourselves more, to stick up for a loved one more, or even a stranger you see being mistreated, and Peter Parker has inspired me to feel stronger. He made me, Andrew, braver. He reassured me that by doing the right thing, it's worth it. It's worth the struggle, it's worth the pain, it's worth even the tears, the bruises, and the blood."

I really just wanted to show how he really is just a kid and he's just coming to accept his powers and he decides that he wants to help people even if there is a cost.

I was inspired by two incredible videos:

1. This TASM video has been on my mind since I first saw it a year ago I think it really captures Peter's character as a kid who's just discovering his powers.

2. And this breathtaking THG video inspired my song choice and it's one of the best fanvideos I've ever seen it incorporates voiceovers and clip choice so well.
