hello,
my name is jhosetp david. i was born in veracruz mexico, but for the last 20 years, i grew up in the middle of new york. its my home. its all ive ever known. but its time for a change.
as many of you know, the current political climate in the us is not the greatest. especially for immigrants.
why did i leave? what made me want to self relocate?
i didnt leave because i was scared. i didnt leave because i gave up on my dreams. i left because i was tired of my dreams feeling impossible. i left because i realized my potential was bigger than the box i was kept in.
i WAS an immigrant. but i have just arrived to this unknown home. join me on my journey of self discovery. on my journey of self relocating. and on this journey called life.
this was my first week in cdmx. i really wasnt ready for the culture shock. for the difference in life. its been a scary life lesson so far, but we’re here, no turning back now.
