This is a part of Thailand that is fairly unknown to me, so I'm even MORE excited than usual when it comes time to grab the food menu. Hanging out next to the lake, the scene is set for a glorious dinner, and this place is famous specifically for fish... so let's order ALL their fish curries!

I hope you enjoy learning about THREE excellent and wild Thai food recipes with us. In the vein of "Jungle Food," I would easily name "Khrua Country" restaurant as one of the best I've ever had in Thailand. Not only because of the flavor, but also the home-liness and the atmosphere... but ok, the cooking was also absolutely stunning!!

This is the first of four days where we explore the areas directly East of our home in Chiang Mai (because of the shape of the mountains and valleys, its much harder to go East-West than it is to go North-South) - we don't often get out to either PhaYao or Nan, so we've got a ton of stuff to look forward to!!
