We made it back finally for part 2 about angular impulse! 🤸🏼
What is angular impulse?
It is a moment (caused by a force) acting over a period of time
check the pictures out, it makes way more sense
Why do we care about angular impulse?
We need to generate angular impulse in order to create rotation!
Some examples:
If I want to do a backflip, I will need to generate enough angular impulse to complete the rotation 🌀
If I’m running (and I’m not trying to do any flips) then I need my net angular impulse to be 0️⃣!
In this episode we talk about how this happens using moment time curves which can help us actually calculate angular impulse!
