John here, with a personal note about this one. I'll Be Back is the last song on Side 2 of the Parlophone album A Hard Day's Night. I love this album, which was the Beatles' first album with all original songs. The movie and the album came out in 1964, when I was an eleven-year-old fan who was lucky enough to be living in London, England because my dad was stationed at the embassy there. My brother and sister and I saw the movie - in glorious black and white - at the Sutton, Surrey movie theaters near where we lived, and Mom probably brought the album home for us. Dave suggested we do this one, by the way, and we're glad he did 'cause it's really fun to sing and play. And it features Diane on avocado.
