Today, we talk about etherchannels and we configure LACP on ciscopacket tracer. We mention there is four ways to connect an etherchannel:
1. LACP
Link aggregation control protocol / layer 2
Active - Active = Link
Active - Passive = Link
Passive - Passive = No Link
Active or Passive - anything else (i.e. auto) = No Good
2. PAGP
Port aggregation protocol / layer 2
Desirable - Desirable = Link
Desirable - Auto = Link
Auto - Auto = No Link
Desirable or Auto - anything else (i.e. on) = No Good
3. Static
Layer 2
On - On = Link
4. IP Address
Layer 3
