Today, we’re going to dive into a trend I’ve been noticing more and more on TikTok: influencers posting videos of their spouses engaging in toxic behavior. However, as soon as people call out the behavior as toxic, the creator backtracks—making a follow-up video to justify the behavior and insisting that the audience is the problem, claiming they just don’t understand the couple’s dynamic and that it was all “just a joke.”
