When HamsterPants522 requested for a couple of GB Castlevania 2 tracks, I had launched the whole Remix-a-Week project with one (   • Castlevania Adventure II - Praying Hands R...  ) on New Year's 2012. So I didn't rush back to doing the next set for a while but when I did I was trying decide between which two, as they're both really solid tunes (as was so much of Konami's soundtracks in those days.) But as I was listening and learning, I discovered how similar they were. And that's when it hit me to medley the two together. Seriously, would you know they were two different songs if I didn't tell you or you hadn't played the game? ...which 6 months later, I still suck at apparently. xD

So...yeah the song. You know, some songs go through a lot and others just hammer out in a day or two. This could've been a hammered out song and in a lot of ways sounds like one due to its clumsy and unfinished nature. A good three weeks has been put into it despite it, but only thanks to hardware, software, and health issues. I'll spare the rant though. Just sufficed to say, there's stuff going on with the rig that literally have people in awe and don't even believe it until they see it for themselves. I guess it turned out in the end. But the mixing is wonky, some of the instruments feel rigid, a lot of my effects tweaks are non-existent, and several other nitpicks. But at least it's pretty listenable. Definitely not my best work but I'm not hanging my head in shame either. Because I think there's a lot of folks who will enjoy, especially since there are so few CVA2 remixes out there.
