This of the pilot for Wait Till Your Father Gets Home, "Love and the Old Fashioned Father", made for the show "Love, American Style." This particular airing of it is from TV Land on January 2000 but I can only speculate that since there aren't a lot of archived schedules of the channel, I only pieced together what information I could find. Hope you like the non-intrusive watermarked and adequate quality of this newly preserved recording of this pilot.

Ever since the MeTV Toons channel launched in the summer of last year, I've been introduced or re-introduced to a lot of shows. A particular show that's become a favorite is Wait Till Your Father Gets Home. Even when I re-uploaded the bumper in 2023, I haven't seen anything from it but it still had my interest so I was happy to see it on MeTV Toons. Something from the franchise I like also is the pilot but never liked how the only footage online is low quality or watermarked with something stupid or in general. So when I was introduced to a collector/seller of old TV shows that was offering discs of the second season of the show that also included the pilot, I jumped for it since I was interested to see what they had for it but I didn't it'd be a whole different recording from the usual MeTV recordings seen online. The seller I bought this from is "WingnutToons". They have an expansive collection of shows and cartoons they sell, I'd recommend checking them out.
