Natural Chemistry's Metal free is a highly effective chelating agent that prevents staining and discoloration from trace metals such as iron and copper. Metal free also prevents scale build-up due to calcium and other minerals. These trace metals and minerals may already be in the pool water or in the fill water. It should be used as part of a well designed pool maintenance program where local water requires it, or where well water is the pool water source.

Routine Usage Directions:

1) Initial Dose: Add 1 capful (4oz) per 400 gallons directly to spa water evenly around the edge immediately after initial fill and after each drain and refill.
2) Weekly Maintenance Dose: Add 1oz per 400 gallons (one quarter of the large cap) weekly directly to spa water evenly around the edge.

Useful Tips:

It is recommended to wait at least 20 minutes to an hour after adding water balancing chemicals. You should wait 2-4 hours to swim from the moment you use calcium chloride in your pool.
