With the Port of Rotterdam, Ambition Group was responsible for initiating and implementing a reorganisation in the field of infrastructure and the environment. In addition, we perform audits and accredit the level of maturity achieved within PRINCE2® using the P3M3 Maturity Indexer.
The Port of Rotterdam is responsible for the management and operation of the Rotterdam port area and as such was the client for the construction of the second Maasvlakte (MV2). Due to the complexity of such a large infrastructure project, the Port of Rotterdam wanted to take advantage of ‘best practice’ in the field of project management. It chose the internationally recognised project management methodology PRojects IN Controlled Environments (PRINCE2®™). Several independent assessments have shown that the use of PRINCE2®™ is at the required level in this project and that the client is ‘in control’! The MV2 project has since been successfully delivered with an accredited Level 5 Maturity Level. This makes MV2 the only project in the world ever to achieve Level 5!
