English House Sparrow Trap Box

Blue Bird groups and Tree swallow groups know that House Sparrows will kill Blue Birds and Tree swallows , to take over more nesting sites. The hole size needed for Blue Birds and Tree swallows will not keep House Sparrows out. So Trapping invasive English House Sparrows then protects Blue Birds and Tree Swallows .

Have more info about the trap box , that did not make it into the video , to make the overall height of the box shorter , the inside stop piece for the front panel has to be recessed more or mount the magnet off to one side at the top , as it is a must for the trap door to hit the ceiling , to fit between the front panel and the stop piece when the box is turned up side down . best is to move the magnet to one side or the trip door blocks the entrance hole in the set to catch position , or in the trip position the trip door is covering the magnet . not sure about this , email me and i will send you a picture .

If you are not willing to trap English House Sparrows then there are 2 hole sizes that keep House Sparrows out. The 1 and 1/8 round hole and the 7/8 oval entrance hole . Any other entrance hole size or shape larger than 1 1/8 round hole or the 7/8 Oval hole will Not keep House Sparrows out .
