Inspired by two videos released by Bill Vencil (Chords of Orion) some years ago, this is my attempt at phased looping. Using the TC Electronic Flashback Triple Delay I recorded two delays as a drone. The second delay had a slightly shorter delay time that the first both having repeats on full. This allowed each delay to repeat infinitely but each played at a slightly different pace causing the phasing.
Over the top of that was played an improvised tune with the Ebow. The bass is an Ibanez GWB 25th Anniversary. The Triple delay had each side of the stereo outs fed into a mono delay. the tape of the El Capistan and the 2290 in the original Flashback delay both being summed through the stereo inputs of the TC Hall of Fame reverb.
There is a #2 still to come and I plan to do a walkthrough video to explain the two performance videos.
