JOSEPH-RENE BELLOT AUGUST 18th 1853

Описание: For many years we have been interested in the person of Joseph-René Bellot, a French naval officer who volunteered to participate in the search for Sir John Franklin's expedition, who disappeared in 1947 in the Northwest Passage. The acquisition of new illustrations gives us the opportunity to make this short film for the anniversary of Bellot's disappearance on August 18th, 1853. Some of the footage is old; because we couldn't travel, we had to dig into our archives!
