Bengali Winter Special Non-Veg Recipe Series: Ep 5 - Chingri diye Mulo Chechki
Radish are found in plenty in maket during winters. This stir fry recipe of the humble radish with prawns is really very soulful. It tastes best when served with hot steamed rice and dal😊.
Ingredients:
Raddish grated
Prawns cleaned and deveined
Salt
Sugar
Turmeric powder
Green Chillies slit
Nigella seeds
Mustard oil
Method:
🍤Mix prawns with salt and turmeric powder and shallow fry in mustard oil.
🍤Add mustard oil in a pan and temper with nigella seeds and two green chilies.
🍤Add the grated radish, and saute for sometime.
🍤Add turmeric and salt and continue frying.
🍤Add the fried prawns once radish is mostly done. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.
🍤Serve hot with steamed rice and dal. Enjoy!!!
