Summary: Very windy (30-40mph); cold (windchill in the 20s). I started off fishing various futsu style kebari with Jamieson's of Shetland Spindrift wool bodies. I tightlined and fished a dry dropper, but it was far too windy to avoid drag and detect strikes. I then moved to a jigged streamer (a variation of the Lance Egan Poacher) presented downstream with a gentle pulsing action. Despite the water temperature, fish were eager to strike. Problem solved.
