welcome my new OTP. welcome my broken heart.

so i got sick and i had to spend my whole week in bed and i decided to watch a tv show. i started with this and… well, i’m broken now. i knew from the beginning that he was going to die and i think it makes it even harder. i watched every moment of his happiness and his suffering and i knew that he has to die with this – knowing that there was a time he wasn’t enough for his wife, wife he loved with all his heart. he said that he would do anything for her, sacrifice everything and he did. he didn’t deserve that suffering, he didn’t deserve to die. i wanted him to have a long, happy life. i wanted him to watch his son growing up, to have a chance to love him and have more children. i wanted him to have that damn dance with mary, just one last dance.
i can’t get over it. they became one of my biggest OTPs just in a second. they were meant to be together and he was meant to die and it's so unfair.
i know i’m probably late with all this, but i watched the show just now and it hurts, francis was one of my fav characters ever
i even kinda hated mary when she left francis for another. i know that she was raped and i can’t even imagine what she was through and i don’t want to judge her, not really. but i think she was selfish. she wanted happiness for herself and i understand that, but she betrayed francis and france and she didn’t care about the price for her happiness. that’s not what it’s supposed to be. you know, he didn’t care about being happy, if it couldn’t be with her. and i hate all the pain i saw in his eyes, because of her. i wish things were different.
and you know, at first i thought it was cruel that we saw their happiness and then, suddenly, he died. i thought it would be easier when he laid sick in his bed, dying. but now i think it was beautiful. because he died happy, protecting his wife, like always. it makes me wanna cry. that he died protecting her and she had betrayed him, she had chosen another…
why they are so epic. that dance in 3x03. when i heard the song, stay with me, i swear, something inside me broke. it was so perfect, so epic. i wish they had more time together.
i don’t know what i’m going to do with my life now haha it’s just so tragic, so sad. i was crying so much when he died, no matter that i knew it would happen and then, the same when she got the letter.

i know the video is quite simple, but i didn't really want to edit it, i just wanted to let go some of my feelings, i'll make another, better one, but this is just to honor them somehow, honor francis, you know, their story, their happiness and their suffering. i just wanted it all here.
