In 2017 there are many options for REALLY BRIGHT flashlights. Some are cheap, some are more expensive, but there are tons of options.
When I was gifted a Surefire 6P I really wanted to use it but at only 65 lumens it was really showing its age. Enter the Malkoff M61 Mod. This LED Conversion easily brought the Surefire 6P up to date and put it on the same playing field as the current 6PX light the surefire currently offers.
I was really glad that I was able to bring the 6P into the future and make it a serviceable flashlight in 2017.
