Описание: I have placed every of my c651 videos in this video. Do note that some of the videos are low quality because they are salvaged videos from 2023. There are 7 c651 trains left on service at the recording of this video.

What is the Siemens c651?

The c651 trains are the 2nd rolling stock for North South - East West Lines. Introduced on 2nd May 1995, there are 114 cars (19 trains, 38 sets), from sets 201 to 238. These trains are iconic in Singapore as they are the last trains to have SMRT's 1980s - 1990s era interior. They also have beautiful sounding motor which attracts many train enthusiasts.

There was a failed refurbishment programme (years 2017 - 2018) for the c651 trains. This resulted in sets 217/218, 225/226, and 227/228 to "retire" as early as 2018.

The first c651 train was decommissioned on 6th September 2020 (set 203/204) and the last c651 trains was decommissioned on 27th November 2024 (set 237/238).

There are 4 cars which were repurposed for SPF (cars 3229, 1229, 1230, and 3230)

Cars 3237 and 3238 were most likely preserved too.

A door from car 3215 has been preserved at Singapore National Museum.
