Rain and fog near Dubrovnik slowed efforts on Thursday (4/4) to recover further bodies from the wreckage of the aircraft carrying US Commerce Secretary Ron Brown. Also hampering the recovery effort is the heavy concentration of land mines in the area. Brown's plane crashed into a hillside on Wednesday afternoon (3/4) as it approached Dubrovnik to land. On Thursday morning, American soldiers and Croatian police were jointly trying to recover all the bodies. As well as Brown, the plane was carrying 26 passengers and had a crew of six.

IFOR soldier Matt Limb SOT (eng): "From where we were at the end of the road it's still quite a distance to the crash, can't see the wreckage. We got as far forward as we could to assist the rescue teams. (There are a large number of people helping) - probably 40 people."
