I was the cameraman on this film which was shot in1979, before the decision was made to hand HK back to China when the lease on the New Territories ran out in 1997. This was shot for the Royal Navy and was shown as a cinema short often with big name movies, like James Bond. Shot on Super 16mm and 35mm film.
It shows day to day life in 1979 Hong Kong and the role Royal Navy had in helping the local authorities control the cross border immigration from mainland China.
