Описание: Join us, Kerry and Clare, for episode 3 of Sow Chatty: A brand new gardening discussion show by two passionate (fairly) new gardeners with unending enthusiasm for their growing spaces and a propensity to enjoy a good natter!

In this episode we tell you what’s hot and what’s not in our gardens this week and Kerry interviews Clare over how The Farmyard Garden’s vegetable plot was created, transforming a disused area of the farm into an abundant home allotment. Clare throws the questioning back to Kerry and the conversation turns to the differences between the old and new plot and what changes Kerry would make if she was to start again.

There’s plenty of community feedback and questions answered later in the episode, regarding your growing spaces and whether we should buy a green stalk and overwinter chilli plants!

Over the last two years we have become great friends and have been musing for months about starting a discussion show together, as a way of building a deeper connection with our audiences and sharing our joy (and the inevitable frustrations) of the gardening season with you.

We garden in two very different styles in the UK, in the equivalent US Hardiness Zone 8b growing spaces. Kerry has a full size allotment plot and a generously sized suburban garden, whilst Clare grows in a purpose built vegetable garden based on her working farm.

One of us is a little bit chaotic in gardening style and the other seeks a slightly more regimented garden. I’m sure, if you’ve followed both of our channels you’ll know which is which!
