When, Why And How To Pinching Fig Trees To Force Early Fruiting

In many areas of the US, the growing season is too short to provide enough heat to ripen longer season types of figs. Pinching can be a way to induce fruiting your fig trees early so you can grow longer season varieties, but it comes at a cost.
